TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH drew up requirements catalogues, which contain the stipulations required for an online trader to receive the certification mark s@fer-shopping. Within the core sectors of TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH the requirements catalogues define technical and ergonomic requirements as well as demands of the organisational structure of the online business.

The s@fer-shopping certification mark is awarded to online traders after methodical testing of these requirements. However TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH cannot guarantee that all fundamental quality and safety requirements are consistently adhered to by the online trader. The technical and ergonomic requirements basically follow the legal regulations and stipulations. For this reason the requirements catalogue contains the corresponding criteria in legal wording. Issuing of the certification mark s@fer-shopping to online traders does not replace legal, tax related or business management consultation.

Testing of the internet offer for correspondence with the requirements catalogue drawn up by TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH does not offer a legal test in the sense of a legal advisory law.
